Nurturing Excellence and Character: The Class Structure at Spirit and Word International School

Pre-School (4–5 Years)

Our pre-schoolers begin a joyful learning journey where play, discovery, and biblical truth come together. They learn essential skills in phonics, numeracy, and handwriting, laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning and godly character.

ABC’s with Ace and Christi (6–7 Years)

At this stage, children enter the exciting world of reading through the ABC’s with Ace and Christi program. This phonics-based course builds strong literacy and numeracy foundations while instilling discipline, responsibility, and Christian morals.

Grades 1–7: Basic Certificate

From primary through middle school, students study individualized PACEs (Packets of Accelerated Christian Education) in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Word Building, and Literature.
Each student progresses at their own pace, mastering one concept before moving to the next. The result is strong comprehension, confidence, and a solid academic and moral foundation.

Grades 8–9: ICCE General Certificate

At this level, students advance to higher reasoning and critical thinking. The curriculum deepens their understanding of key academic subjects while integrating a biblical worldview. Upon completion, students earn the ICCE General Certificate, recognized internationally.

Grade 10: ICCE Intermediate Certificate

This stage prepares learners for higher education or vocational paths. Students take advanced PACEs and electives while developing leadership, analytical, and time management skills. Graduates receive the ICCE Intermediate Certificate, marking an important milestone in their academic journey.

Transfer Students (Grades 10–12)

Students who are already part of the A.C.E. system can seamlessly continue or complete their studies at SAWCA. We provide the necessary support to ensure a smooth transition and successful completion under the ICCE framework.

Globally Recognized Standards

The ICCE Certificates are internationally acknowledged and comparable to Cambridge O’Level and A’Level, with full conversion eligibility to UNEB. This means SAWCA graduates are well-equipped to pursue further studies both locally and abroad.
